How long does a full detailing service take?
The time varies depending on the condition of the vehicle and the services you choose. Typically, full detailing takes around 4 hours for an interior and exterior. For more extensive work like ceramic coating, paint corrections, and paint protection film installation, it could take a full day or more.
What is the difference between ceramic coating and waxing?
Ceramic coating provides long-term protection and enhances the vehicle’s shine for years, while waxing offers a temporary layer of protection that lasts a few weeks to a couple of months. Ceramic coating infuses into the vehicles clear coat whereas wax sits on the surface. Ceramic is more durable and resistant to harsh environmental factors, like coastal fog.
Do you offer mobile detailing services?
Currently, only for our ceramic maintenance program customers. We operate from our ceramic studio in Grover Beach to ensure the highest possible quality and access to professional-grade equipment. There are many reasons mobile detailing is great for connivence however, shop detailing produces a far superior result.
Can you remove scratches from my car?
Yes. Our exterior detailing services can include paint correction, which can effectively reduce and remove scratches, scuffs, and swirl marks. For deeper scratches, we can evaluate the damage and recommend the best solution. We can also fill with OEM paint, wet sand, add clear coat and polish to match.
How often should I have my car detailed?
We recommend detailing your car every 4-6 months to maintain its condition and value. However, if your vehicle is exposed to harsh conditions like coastal salt air or frequent dirt, you may benefit from more frequent detailing. Regular washes and interior cleaning should take place every 3-5 weeks.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash (discount), credit/debit cards, pay in 4 options, and all digital payment methods
Is the booking fee refundable?
No, the $50 fee is non-refundable but is applied to your final invoice.
How long does PPF last?
Our premium PPF carries a 10-year warranty against yellowing, cracking, and peeling when properly maintained.
Can PPF/clear bra be removed?
Yes, PPF can be safely removed without damaging your vehicle's paint when professionally installed.
Does Ceramic really last for years?
Our premium Gyeon ceramic coating lasts its full stated time frames. How do we know? We use it on all our personal vehicles and have installed and maintained dozens of different coatings for customers for years. Why do some have ranges? This is because each owner keeps their vehicle in different locations for storage (garage and street parking) and not all vehicle owners maintain their vehicles in different ways.
